Talent and Partner was founded in 2009 by Mariam Boulares and Ingrid Janowski. The agency, based in Paris, represents fashion, still life, landscape, portrait and lifestyle photographers alongside directors, fashion stylists, set designers.
These artists have been published in various international publications such as Vogue Paris, Vogue Japan, Vogue China, Numéro, Numéro Tokyo, Numéro China, Harper’s Bazaar & its international editions, Fantastic Man, The Gentlewoman, Dazed & Confused, Purple Fashion Magazine, Le Monde d’Hermès, T Magazine, M Le Monde, ELLE, Uomo Vogue, Man of the world, Wallpaper, Port Magazine, Architecture Digest, Travel & Leisure, the NY Times Magazine, Time Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Bloomberg Pursuits, etc… Their clients include Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Cartier, Chopard, Van Cleef & Arpels, Jaeger Lecoultre, Rolex, Roger Vivier, Louboutin, Clinique, Lancôme, Vichy, Nars, Shiseido, Biotherm, Bergdorf Goodman, Hennessy, Paco Rabanne, Air France, Nike, among others. Julien Claessens and Thomas Deschamps were born in France and met while they were teenagers.
Deschamps studied photography at the Applied Art School of Vevey in Switzerland. Claessens decided to enroll at the Art Academy La Cambre in Brussels, where he is still based.
Deschamps’ career took off when he went back to Paris. He started shooting for major French groups, allowing him to pursue his personal research and collaborate with writers and performance artists.
Claessens started working in fashion and developed his own work, including nudes, portraits and still lives. His book The Other Side of the Picture – retracing Belgian designer Olivier Theyskens’ career – was published in 2010 by Assouline.
Their clients list includes Nina Ricci, Theyskens’ Theory, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Nirav Modi and Delvaux.
